Psychotherapy & Counselling in Kent

Learning to be fully yourself, one step at a time.

Private therapy in Tunbridge Wells and Online with Catherine Noel.

I understand how hard it can be to reach out, especially when you’re used to managing alone. You don’t have to have the perfect words or know the answers already — we can begin wherever you are. The first step is just a conversation.

I offer a free 15-minute call so you can ask questions, talk about what’s on your mind, and see if we’re a good fit.  Please email me to arrange a confidential, no obligation chat.

Therapy

What if you’re not ‘wrong’…? Maybe there’s just more to the story…

Does this sound familiar:

  • You’ve always looked “fine” on the outside, even when things didn’t feel okay inside.
  • You struggle with criticism or feel rejected easily, and you’re not sure why.
  • You find closeness difficult — even though you long for connection.
  • You often feel “too sensitive,” “too needy,” or disconnected from others – like something’s wrong with you.
  • You doubt yourself but can’t put your finger on where it started.

Maybe on the whole, everything seemed fine or ‘pretty average’ when you were growing up — but something feels like it’s missing now. Therapy can help you understand what, and begin to heal.

I offer a calm, grounded space where you can be yourself — no pressure, no judgement. My approach is gentle but deep. We’ll work at your pace, exploring the roots of your patterns, and building new ways to relate to yourself and others with more ease and trust.

Supervision

A warm, grounded space to think, feel, and find your way—at your pace.

Whether you’re newly qualified or years into private practice, the need for a steady, reflective relationship doesn’t go away. My approach to supervision is relational and collaborative—we attend to your client work, of course, but also to you: your responses, your process, your growth. What arises between us can be just as valuable as what’s spoken about. This isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about creating the conditions for insight, regulation, and clarity to emerge.

Reflective Practice Groups for Counsellors in Private Practice

An emotionally attuned space to think, feel, and grow—together.

We don’t work in a vacuum—but private practice can make it feel that way.  Without the rhythm of team meetings or shared clinical discussion, it’s easy to feel unmoored. You may carry certain sessions in your body long after they end, or find yourself repeating familiar supervisory themes without quite getting to the root. These small, consistent groups offer a grounded relational container—where unconscious processes can be explored and patterns made visible, within a trusted circle of fellow practitioners.
